Valparaiso Park Foundation
A FRIENDSHIP FOR A LIFETIME
The Parks Foundation’s deeply rooted commitment: Be a Part of It!
The Valparaiso city parks offers residents springtime blossoms, breath-taking
summer scenery, autumn walking routes, and wintertime adventure. When you think
of our city parks, what means the most to you? What’s your favorite pastime? Is
it an afternoon escape? Amid-morning hike? An after-school jungle gym? In order
to make memories like yours last and to ensure new ones will be made at the
Valparaiso Parks, we need residents to take an active role in supporting the
parks.
Be a Friend of the Park
By becoming a friend of the Valparaiso Parks, you can have input regarding the
parks appearances, help keep the parks clean – and green, conserve its natural
beauty, and invest in the future of our parks. When you choose to become a Friend
of the Parks by making a donation to the Valparaiso Parks Foundation, friendships
grow and community partnership increases.
Since the inception of the Valparaiso Foundation, many accomplishments have been
reached, including the development of such park opportunities as the Lakewood
Link, ValPlayso, Creekside, Foundation Meadows, and the Service Memorial.
However, the greatest accomplishment has been the continuous support and
involvement of individuals and corporations within our community. Regardless of
size, every donation is gratefully accepted and put to good use within the
Parks.
For information about current/upcoming Foundation projects, fundraisers, legacy
gifts, or how to donate, contact the Valparaiso Parks Foundation today. This is
our community and our parks. Together, let’s keep them growing
